Wronged bodies: gendering human rights abuses in contemporary Greek poetry

This article surveys the ways in which contemporary Greek poetry unveils human rights abuses society order to push for law and social policy reforms that protect gender identity, expression, freedom as well holding governments institutions accountable their enforcement. In context of feminist, anti-fascist, queer activism culture society, this analysis discusses how exposes femicide violence challenges provisions both universality rights. Stemming from post-human feminist critiques dominant ethno-patriarchal structures, becomes a medium collective mourning, public commemoration, justice-seeking victims hate crime, homophobia, racism, misogyny.
